Abstract: The organization total commitment to continuous improvement has been the major force behind the search of the best document management system in the market. The need of such system is growing stronger as the organization starts running on its maximum capacity. In the past 5 years of operation, document controlling and knowledge sharing always been a great challenge to the management, thus an effective business solution will contribute a great support for the organization. Having undergone several option and selection, Microsoft SharePoint is chosen to be the best document management system for the organization. Its capability to deliver customer requirement has been the strongest factor behind the decision of implementing Microsoft SharePoint in Power plant. However the questions remain, can this business solution able to perform as good DMS in term of speed, reliability, ease of use, security, accessibility and compatibility? To what extend this implementation will contribute financial benefit to the company?
